While serving as Chief Appellate Counsel at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Slater oversaw many complex administrative law appeals, including rule challenges and licensure sanctions against accountants, contractors, pari-mutuel gaming facilities, and real estate agents and agencies, among others.
